Jeff Canady, President
Prior to the formation of Pipeline Regulatory Consultants, Inc., Mr. Canady spent four years working for the Oklahoma Corporation Commission as a Pipeline Safety Specialist. Prior to working for the OCC, Jeff spent 16 years working for Phillips Petroleum Company/GPM in the gas gathering area.
Jeff’s history and experience includes the following:
- Routine D.O.T. audits of various operators of natural gas gathering, natural gas transmission, hazardous liquid and gas distribution systems
- Accident investigations
- Construction inspections
- Classroom training on D.O.T. code requirements given to operators, fire, police and other public officials
- Leakage surveys
- Classroom training on Cathodic Protection principles
- Marketing

Jeff Lane, Vice President
Prior to the formation of PRC, Mr. Lane spent the last 20 years working for a major natural gas distribution company (Reliant Energy/Arkla). Mr Lane’s years of experience include various areas such as construction, which included the installation of pipe and services to residential and business customers, natural gas leak and carbon monixide investigations, and work in the Quality Assurance and training department.
Mr. Lane’s expertise as a trainer covered such areas as:
- Employee field observations
- Classroom training, including gas leak survey
- Gas leak pinpointing
- Gas leak classification & investigations
- Carbon monoxide investigations
- Fire training
- First responder training
- Poly pipe joining certification
- Conducting internal audits to ensure compliance with all State and Federal pipeline safety rules & regulations
